Recognizing the importance of parents role in the education of their wards, IIMET has been organizing regular interaction between parents and teachers at different levels:Parents-faculty, Parents-HODs & Parents-Principal. The objective of these meetings is to keep the parents informed about the strengths of the students as well as the areas where they need improvement. We also invite inputs from parents for the betterment of the career of their wards.

IIMET acknowledges the students who excel in academics and bring laurels to the institute in co-curricular and extracurricular activities in the college or inter-college competitions. During the organization of college events and functions, they are duly recognized and felicitated in the presence of students, teachers, parents and guests.

In cases of irregular students or those who remain habitually absent from the college, we need to ensure greater involvement of parents for which we keep them informed through SMSs, E-Mail, phone and letters. The students and parents are informed about the University provisions of debarring students from appearing in exams if they do not meet the University norms of attendance and discipline.

A meeting of the Principal, HODs and the faculty with the parents of III & IV year students was held recently in the college campus where among other things they were informed about the placement prospects of the students based on a SWOT analysis made by HODs, TP Cell and CRT experts. It was quite a significant meeting for students, especially those with slim chances of placement. They were told how they can still work to improve their placement prospects. On this occasion, all-rounder & best performers were acknowledged and applauded by everyone present in the meeting.
